EqD Provincial License to Practice
CAEDP equine dental practitioners who wish to provide routine equine dental maintenance are required to hold a Professional License to Practice and register the work they do. A Professional License to Practice allows certified equine dental practitioners to provide a routine full-mouth dental balance or equilibration.
If an equine dental practitioner does hold a license to practice, they have to take part in an annual process that shows us they are up to date on their certification requirements. Some dental practitioners hold a registration without a license. These practitioners should not provide equine dental care. An equine dental practitioner’s status on CAEDP’s Professional License to Practice Register will show who holds a license or not.
